Sac Girls Closet is all about supporting under-resourced girls in our community and helping them express their true selves 🫶

how it works

back-to-school clothing drive đź’–

We collect gently-worn clothing and accessories to help us curate our pop-up shop for high school girls in need of a school wardrobe. Items should be gently-used, clean and free of holes or stains. We will also collect new hygiene essentials.

Sacramento-area high school girls shop for free at this event. Attendees must register by August 29 to reserve their spot. The pop-up shop day will be held Monday, September 1, in Sacramento. Volunteer stylists will be available to help our shoppers put together the perfect back-to-school fit.

We’re looking for volunteers—adults or students, general or stylists—to help before and on the shop day.

We are looking to borrow clothes racks and hangers.

We are also looking for the donation of shopping bags for our shoppers.
